INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Bioengineering and Technology Postgraduate Symposium (BiePoST), an esteemed event organized by the Faculty of Bioengineering and Technology at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Since its inception in 2021, BiePoST has been held biennially, aligning with the faculty's vision and mission of fostering technological innovation with a focus on entrepreneurship.

This year's symposium is centered around the theme "Pioneering the Future of Science and Technology" reflecting our commitment to exploring the latest developments and breakthroughs in bioengineering. BiePoST2024 serves as a pivotal platform for postgraduate students by providing an opportunity to forge collaborations with industrialists and academicians from local and international institutions. This symposium not only facilitates the exchange of cutting-edge research and ideas but also enhances the exposure and networking of participants within the global scientific community. Bioengineering, as a critical field, continues to drive the development of new technologies that significantly benefit both the environment and humanity. BiePoST2024 aims to highlight these advancements, bringing them to the forefront of public attention and fostering a greater understanding of bioengineering's practical applications and entrepreneurial potential.

We are excited to welcome you to BiePoST2024, where innovation meets collaboration, and together, we can pave the way for a brighter, more technologically advanced future.

THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The Bioengineering and Technology Postgraduate Symposium (BiePoST) 2024, themed "Pioneering the Future of Science and Technology" aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among local and international postgraduates and academician representatives. The symposium seeks to address key challenges in bioengineering through innovative solutions and cutting-edge advancements. Additionally, it aims to enhance educational outreach and encourage the development of impactful bioengineering innovations.

The objectives of BiePoST2024 include facilitating knowledge exchange by providing a platform for participants to share their research findings, exchange ideas, and discuss the latest trends and developments in bioengineering. BiePoST2024 is committed to advancing the frontiers of bioengineering, bridging the gap between scientific research and technological application, and contributing to the sustainable development of society through innovative bioengineering solutions. The symposium will also foster entrepreneurship by encouraging the commercialization of bioengineering technologies and supporting entrepreneurial ventures. We aim to disseminate the findings of the symposium to broaden the impact of the progress presented, contribute to global scientific knowledge, and further global sustainable development goals.
