INTRODUCTION 

Organized by the Faculty of Bioengineering and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, the International Conference on Bioengineering and Technology (IConBET) is conducted every two years since 2021. IConBET is established in line with the vision and mission of the faculty that prioritizes technology innovation with an entrepreneurial implementation. It is also to provide space and exposure for young and senior researchers in the universities to establish a network of collaborators with industrialists and researchers from both, local and abroad institutions and industries. 

Bioengineering has always been an important field that contributes to the development of new emerging technologies for the benefit of environments and human beings. IConBET will open up access to the new technology discovery in bioengineering and bring to light these latest technologies to the public attention, at the same time creating awareness of bioengineering technology application with entrepreneurship. 

THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES 

IConBET2025 with a theme of "Harnessing Sustainable Pathways through Advancement in Science and Technology" aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among academician, scientists, researchers, technologists, students, and industry representatives to address sustainability challenges through innovative solutions. It seeks to showcase cutting-edge advancements, advocate for sustainable practices across sectors, and support research and development in sustainable technologies. The conference also aims to promote educational outreach and encourage the development of impactful innovations. Objectives include facilitating knowledge exchange, identifying key challenges and solutions, fostering entrepreneurship, and ensuring inclusivity and equity in sustainability efforts. Additionally, the conference will publish and disseminate its findings to broaden the impact of the presented advancements on global sustainable development goals. 

THE PARTICIPANTS 

Biologists, chemists, physicists, environmentalists, science students, researchers, industrialists, interested parties, and any of those in bioengineering and related technologies.

PUBLICATIONS 

All accepted papers will be published in the Scopus Indexed Journal/Proceedings at an additional cost.
